Series 470 cages are the deluxe model of the large rodent cages. These are ideally suited for rats and guinea pigs, and are available in two sizes.

The sides and back of the cages are fabricated from solid panels, while the floor and front are formed of a single panel of #2 wire mesh. A special fabrication design eliminates folded edges, which allows excreta to drop through the bottom without restriction; radiused rear vertical corners make the cage easier to clean. The Series 470 cages are fabricated with a full width header, which strengthens the cage and serves as a pull handle.

Several styles of feeder accessories may be used with this cage.

Transfer pan/cover units and metabolism units are available for Single-size "A" units only.
